Datsyerberger 279 Report post Posted May 25, 2008 Given the relative weak defense and goaltending in the East (with a couple exceptions, as compared to Luongo, Nabokov, Giggy, Ozzie, Turco, Kipper, etc in the West) , do you think D&Z could put up the same or better point totals than Sid and Geno if they or the Wings (we can always dream) were in the East? I definitely think it's something worth considering, and if you consider that Dats and Z put up their current (top 6!) point totals against the top lines of the strong defensive teams in the West (and their aforementioned netminders), I think they're more even with the top scoring talent in the East than the numbers show.
