Duck Guy 86 Report post Posted May 29, 2008 (edited) With the way that homer plays being in the goalies face 24/7 the other players are bond to cross check the hell out of him. And about some pens fans saying they are happy he is injured...there are always some stupid fans on every team Homer is the best and i hope he is ok cuz iam sure Fleury will miss him oh so very much Edited May 29, 2008 by Duck Guy
RockyMountainWingGal 108 Report post Posted May 29, 2008 Gill did get called twice for cross checking Homer. Probably should have been 3x and probably should have been a high stick on Lids - but all and all penalties were 3/wings and 5/Pens. I'd be more concerned if they canceled another of Homer's goals Officiating did not lose us the game - no we shouldn't be whining like Therrien. If anything lost us the game it was our PP - if that was working well it would have been a whole different story......
VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted May 29, 2008 You guys....the Penguins gave it everything they have and they still barely got away with the win. Without that quick 2-0 start, the Pens lose this game. This wasn't even the worst loss the Wings have experienced. After that gruelling Dallas series, I have complete and total faith that the Wings will bounce back, they always have. They have always bounced back and gotten back into game form, usually with a dominating final score. We all expected Pittsburgh to take a game or two, and I'd rather have them win because of sloppy play by the Wings than have them beat a Wings team playing their best hockey. Deep down we all saw this coming, so let's just keep the wagon moving forward and get pumped for the next game.

After Detroit settled in, they dominated. Penguins better savour those 3 goals, cause it could very easily be their last of the post-season. Shut'em down Ozzy!
