10 Minute Misconduct 104 Report post Posted May 29, 2008 Well, they sure didn't prove you wrong in the first two games. I guess it's a matter of a Pen's fan (that's me) wanting to buy into the "They're inexperience showed, and they have started to adjust" theory vs. a Wings fan (you guys) accepting the "Wings on balance have showed themselves to be significantly better over the first 180 minutes" theory. If the Pens don't win Saturday night, yesterday's game 'will' be pretty meaningless. I can agree with that. If the Pens lose tomorrow then i believe their done. Saying that, the numbers still don't favour the Pens. The home team that is up 2-1 in the Cup Finals are 29-1 all-time.
Marty Midnight 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2008 An unbiased betting man would still have to take the Wings at this point for a number of reasons. I (as a Pens fan) am keeping my fingers crossed for a little more suspense. Fortunately for the players they, and not us, will get to decide the outcome. The next game will be much more completive now that the penns have started to play like they can. For game 4 I expect a lower score and much better play by both teams in thier own end, 1-0 Wings. poxer 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2008 (edited) I humbly disagree, the Pens played that game with desperation. When the Pens play their best Detroit will be no contest. Wings played like s*** in game 3. We did a lot of stuff right but we also did a lot of things wrong. Dats wasn't playing to this best of his ability, our D looked like s*** besides Lids, our first line wasn't doing very well, everyone was mishandling the puck. To say an ignorant comment like that makes me laugh. When Pens play their best against Detroit who's playing their best, it should be a good game but Detroit would win. Sorry. Too much depth and too much experience. By the way, this just goes to show what I said about the Pens having to show up for game 3. Which they definitely did. That was a well deserved win for them. They definitely capitalized on the Wings mistakes. Edited May 29, 2008 by poxer
