RedArmy 4 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 sometimes the coach gets overlooked, but he was like one of the last few people to raise the cup and he did do a fantastic job! Scottie left the team in the good hands

VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 Babcock is the next big thing in coaching. The guy has seldom made a mistake, and he's all business. The team respects him and he wins. Long-term baby. I can't believe that he didn't even seem excited when being interviewed after they won. This guy is bad-ass.
puertoricanWingsfan 5 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 Babs is a total badass HAHA! I loved that response... Babcock continually showed that he is a professional hockey coach at the highest level for a reason. He was cool, collected, calm and clearly in charge of his team. He was the conductor running the Red Machine, and he did a hell of a job. Congratulations to him on his first cup, and here's looking forward to the ones he'll win in the future!
