Vladifan 680 Report post Posted July 4, 2008 I remember back when this guy used to have a feared shot from the point and was a devastating bodychecker. It's amazing how far he's fallen in the last few years, and should have clearly retired by now. Remember the last few years he's had problems with his back? I would bet it's because of the way he usually bodychecks. And that is, he backs into the guy against the wall and hits with his butt. That won't change. GLAD YOU DIDN'T COME TO DETROIT!!!! sharks won't be that much better...maybe worse if they can't rid themselves of marleau...i really think he is the problem here.. fans really want him to play with more of a spark. he took a few big hits, and scored some goals in this years playoffs...but you could put almost anyone and put them next to JOE THORNTON and make them score 25-30 goals a year. i liked ron wilson.even though he couldn't take them farther! im not a fan with some of the moves (or lack of) in san ho. glad i feel so connected to the red wings.
