Slovak hockey site Wiki table Funny google translation Best player - 3rd straight : Marian Hossa (DET) in front of Gaborik,Visnovsky,Chara,Palffy Best forward - 4th straight : Marian Hossa (DET) in front of Gaborik(Min), Palffy(Skalica-Slovak) Best defenseman : Lubomir Visnovsky (EDM) in front of Chara(Bos),Sekera(Buff) Best goalie(Dzurila's trophy): Peter Budaj (COL) in front of Lasak(Pardubice),Stana(Linkoping) Some pics : Winners Hoss Hossa with his fiancée Hoss alone Visna Budaj Last year winners Hossa also became only the 3rd player to win the Best player award for the 3rd time with Bondra (98,02,03) and Satan(00,01,04) . Hossa said that he will do his best to win the SC and that he chose DET because it's the best team. I think it's because Lubo scored the GWG shootout goal for the win over Slovenia in relegation games at WCH this year because most of our top players couldn't come - (Hossa,Gaborik,Demitra,Svatos,Satan,Nagy,Stumpel,Zednik,Handzus,Bartecko,Kopecky ,Chara,Meszaros,Jurcina,Bondra - now GM and finally Zigmund Palffy who played last year in Slovakia).
