Majsheppard 203 Report post Posted August 28, 2008 Good little article about the nine. None of these guys have a pray of making the Wings, and there is absolutely no money to add them for depth and send them down to GR. However, maybe some of these guys could catch on in the farm system. Any gems in there? Anyone know anything about these kids beyond the article?

Guest Dump-N-Thump Report post Posted August 28, 2008 (edited) There are a couple scouting reports on Joe RYan and that Cameron CePek kid.. Ryan seems like he's a good player IDK why the kings didn't sign him. He's physical, he plays on the powerplay, He's supposubly a poor mans Adam Foot, But he has a hard low shot from the point. From the scouting report, He sounds like a legit prospect. Cameron Cepek, Is aggresive as hell. but his skating is suspect.. not much of a prospect Jordan Foreman may sound familliar because of this vid against Jakub Kindl Edited August 28, 2008 by Dump-N-Thump
shoe 165 Report post Posted August 28, 2008 I like the sound of these 2 neither one of them should make the wings but a fighter named Foreman is just cool and a French kid with a goal scoring knack is something the wings havnt had in a long time even if he is short and light. Jordan Foreman, F, 21, 5-09, 165, 65-28-34-62-155, Niagara (OHL). The 5-foot-9 center isn't big, but he won the 2005 Memorial Cup with the London Knights and became a fan favorite with his big hits and willingness to drop the gloves. Francis Pare, F, 21, 5-10, 185, 69-54-48-102-54, Chicoutimi (QMJHL). Pare racked up 54 goals and 102 points last year and was named MVP of the QMJHL. He has already signed a contract with Grand Rapids for 2008-09.
redwingfan19 293 Report post Posted August 28, 2008 Jordan Foreman!! watched this guy play alot when he was with the knights. He's basically Tootoo but not as dirty and he has offensive potential. I'd like to see this guy get signed for GR and see if he could make his way up to the Wings.

We need people who try to tag team players on our team for toughness! Make it happen, Kenny!

skacore 2 Report post Posted August 29, 2008 Wow, what awesome tough guys Foreman and Beaulieu are! We need people who try to tag team players on our team for toughness! Make it happen, Kenny! Jakub Kindl knocked out their team captain with a brutal elbow to the head, but I'm sure that is fine. What Foreman and Beaulieu did was 100% appropriate and Kindl should have to pay the price for what he did.
skacore 2 Report post Posted August 29, 2008 search Jordan Foreman on youtube. He sucks ass at fighting. He's also 5'9 at best and has fought the heavyweights of the OHL the past few years, I'm sure if he ever makes the show he'll settle in as a decent middleweight. Did Kindl deserve to get his ass kicked? Absolutely. Did Foreman and Beaulieu go about in the right way? Not even close.
Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted August 29, 2008 Francis Pare is the one who will be a top 6 forward on GR this year, the kid did great last year in the Q. Wouldnt mind seeing him on the Wings in a couple of years, even if it wont happen.

Don't say challenge him 1 on 1, because the entire team did.

Obviously that was a fluke, but there's a reason you don't unfairly jump someone like Bert did. I've got no problem with a guy getting jumped from the front if he needs to get his ass kicked but keeps declining. Don't double-team a guy; it makes you look worse than the guy who deserved it IMO. I agree. What Dmac did to Lemieux was the right way to go about it. There were no 3rd men in that "fight" even though you can bet every Wing on the ice and on the bench would have liked to kick his arse too.
