Sean Avery Plays with Dolls

The episode of e60 tonight (going on right now) had a feature with Sean Avery that was pretty hilarious. I totally respect how honest he is about everything. He talks about his love for women's clothing, what he likes in purses, and a little hockey. Here's a little clip, although I don't think it's the full thing because I thought it was a lot longer than 2:22. Enjoy.

There's now a working clip in the original post. ESPN took it down for some reason.

The clip they have is strictly based on Avery's comments towards how the league is run and Bettman specifically. It also includes Conroy, Iginla and Crosby's responses. Thought it was pretty interesting stuff.

(The funny parts about him playing with dolls when he was a kid was all not put in the clip so sorry for that)

I don't know how you can't like this guy. I loved him when he was with the wings while at the same time admitted he had some negatives. But what other player in the NHL can you think of that would actually truthfully speak there mind when asked such questions?

IMO, he is spot on. The NHL focuses all their attention on promoting the high scoring superstars like Crosby and Iginla and completely ignore all other elements of the game. If I know very little about hockey and all that is being talked about is these guys that are going to score X amount of points, then I'm going to perceive hockey as one dimensional. My ignorant friends are just like this. They don't even recognize the presence of the third and fourth liners. All they know is that Z and Dats are goal scorers. They don't understand the value of the 3rd and 4th lines.

I like Avery. He's such a little pisser!! I've "warned" all my Dallas Stars fan buddies, get ready for an interesting ride, with this guy on your team.

He's going to love Dallas, with all the plastic and glitz there, and his dear mentor, Hullie. Not so sure Dallas will love him, but it's just metro enough to suit our Seanie.
