I agree, he shouldn't come back, but it gives him the perfect opportunity to save face with Leafs fans by coming back and saying its the only team he wants to play for, yada, yada, yada. Since he's going to go back on his word about playing the whole year and all that crap, the next best thing he can do in terms of keeping his legacy intact is to re-sign with the Leafs.
