BeeRYCE 2 Report post Posted November 27, 2008 Anybody catch this? It was actually a pretty good fight. They were throwing bombs and the fury was definitely there.
BuckeyeWingsfan80 209 Report post Posted November 27, 2008 Looking at the comments, there was some debating about whether the hit by Stamkos was dirty or not... Had he caught Zherdev squarely it probably would have been called boarding or charging, but oh well...

Wingman 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2008 Great fight! Most of the time it's the urge of the fighters, rather their actual fighting skills, that's entertaining. Lilja should watch and learn from this...

Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted November 27, 2008 That was awesome! Great by Stamkos, to not only throw a monsterous hit, but then back it up. One more reason to like the kid.
YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted November 27, 2008 That was ******* sweet. Stamkos won it, but Zherdev wasnt too bad either. If the refs keep calling these lame s***ty penalties, and the Wings keep blowing leads like they have, I could see Hossa pulling out the boxing gloves. It wouldnt be the first time for the guy. Proud 2 B a Wings Fan 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2008 (edited) Wow in JR A last year Stamkos(golden boy) would usually cheapshot and run for cover of the linesmen or teamates. Someone must have give him a kick in the n*ts down there in Tampa Edited November 27, 2008 by Proud 2 B a Wings Fan

GoalieManPat 1,007 Report post Posted November 28, 2008 Whatever. This was a real fight. Carcillo and Dorsett: Thats how all fights should start right there. Get them helmets off, both square up, and let them rip. Anything involving someone fighting with a shield on should not count as a fight and that person should get an extra two minutes for being a *****.

Carcillo vs. Dorsett was exactly what every fighter should want to be a part of.
