I saw the interview start and thought it would be a good chance to get a new drink and came back to the announcer lauging hysterically it in the background. Bummed I missed it

F.....I erased this game from my DVR last night and now I really want to watch this. I was trying to catch up to live time because I started watching this game half way through. I must have skipped right over it through my fast-forwarding.

*If anyone has this please, please upload it!*

It was one of the funniest things I've seen lately.

I've still got it IQ'd because I keep watching it. His accent was simply hilarious and the commentators reaction was priceless. :P

Aussie....can you do me a solid and upload it for us?

For the people giving the Slovak dude a lot of crap, let me pick your brains with a little curveball and see if I'm at all in the ballpark or if this is just totally irrelevant.

Yes the guy was goofy during the interview. Yes he was easy to poke fun at. I give the guy kudos though for getting the nerve and courage to talk on national television. I'd probably slur my words a bit myself if I was on TV or having an on-the-spot interview.

People in here have voiced their displeasure plenty of times in the past that the NHL isn't popular or that there aren't enough fans out there, more or less. Well? The goofy Slovak became a fan. His reasons seem a bit silly, yes, but bottom line is those silly reasons made him a pretty dedicated fan, and he likes being a fan of his team and hockey and the NHL. More power to him.

I became a fan of the Red Wings because they were "good" and I wasn't old enough to understand hockey back in the 80s (when they were struggling more often than not) when I was just a kid and due to being raised in the South and living here most of my life, does that make me silly or a bad bandwagoner because I joined them when they were getting better? Well, I rarely miss a game now either. Are my reasons for liking the Red Wings or hockey "silly"?

Certainly doesn't matter to me how people become fans. The more fans, the merrier.

You are right but that still doesn't mean I can't laugh at the hilarity of the situation.

I found the segment annoying to start with. I was too busy wishing the wings to get back into the game to care about some slovakian <insert appropriate description here>, then I heard Eddy Olchyck and that swung it for me... classic!

I have to agree with you on this, Jack. Well put. :)

I know I said that I laughed at him, but he was a little on the wild side... but it's good to have the NHL be so far reaching.

IMO, he chose a good team... hehe... but you knew I was going to say that, right?

Kinda. :D

Don't get me wrong I was chuckling as well watching him try to get his lingo across. How could you not laught at it? It was damned funny. I'm just trying to give a perspective outside the land of Red Wings bias and Red Wings vs. Avalanche and "AVALANCHE BAD!"

I make fun of myself all the time, but seems like some people in here are piling on the guy a bit too much putting him down like they mean it and like he was the Poltergeist's son or something. Was just a goofy guy during the interview, nothing more or less, and I'd buy him a beer or two in spite of how weird he came off.
