GROwl 5 Report post Posted December 22, 2008 Bob Kaser, the Griffins radio broadcaster, announced soon after the injury occurred that Jon was expected to be out at least 3 weeks. That should be up (if not slightly more) after the Christmas break. I listened to the game last night, but didn't hear any update on Jon. No update on Garrett Stafford either. PJ Atherton was added to the injured "D" list during Saturday's game. Possibly 2-3 weeks for him. The Griffins played with 5 defensemen last night - though Oulahen also helped out on the blue line. Abdelkader seemed fine to me Saturday during warm-ups, although he was out both Saturday and last night. It certainly wasn't visible Saturday what his injury is.
