LOL!!! dude, wtf? this is a really obscure rule that i had never heard of before--it sounds like most people here hadn't heard of it either. anyway, if that's the rule, then i guess it makes sense. the weird thing is that if the goal was scored, that was a stoppage in play. why did the linesman not report it then? i thought that once play started again, no matter what happened, they couldn't go back and change things. and, if the decided that it was really important that they do that, why not reset the clock to the time when the penalty happened and negate the play that had occurred in the meantime. that makes no sense to me. i'd be pissed if i was a sharks fan and they missed the call, but i'd be way more pissed if i was a hawks fan and the refs went and retroactively changed the game. that is messed up. What did you think I was sayin man? i guess i missed the part where mindfly didn't know what offsides was...obviously that was part of another conversation. it seemed that you were making fun of him for quoting that rule when it seemed like nobody else knew what it was, either. sorry i misunderstood.
