I don't see how that ovy goal is #1. It's a nice goal and top 10 maybe, but his other goal, along with others, were way better.

I agree, nowhere near #1 in my opinion. I didn't watch the list recently, but when I first saw it, I think #6, #5 and #3 were better, probably others as well. They seem to have a bias towards guys falling down and still scoring. Personally, I prefer "cleaner" goals. Regarding the Ovechkin goal, it wouldn't even be in my top 10 if it wasn't for the move in the neutral zone.

Hagman's should have been #1 since it was all hard work and he actually controlled the puck the entire time. The Nash and Wheeler goals are good but they didn't actually score on the original play, they scored on a rebound. Not taking anything away from them because they are skilled players, I just would rate their goals lower.

Ovechkin's goal against Phoenix was better than the one against Montreal considering the angle of the shot.

Is anyone else annoyed by the quickness of some announcers to proclaim a goal the highlight of the night?
