Remember the first two games we sqeaked out I think the scores were 3-1 and 4-2, both games were tied going into the third, I do believe! Then we went to Nashville, and had a lead of 3-2 in the third and then all hell broke loose and we lost 5-3, and then got drilled in game 4. In the third period of game 4, Babs put in Ozzie and the rest is history!! What I am saying is, the team did not play great to start the playoffs, but had the team that could pull out games they did not play great in, then after realizing that they needed to step up, they did and defeated, what I thought was the toughest team we played, in Nashville last year. Yes, but there are far more years when the Wings don't play great to start the playoffs and don't have the time/luck to step their game up. I'm not panicking either, and really less than a year off of a Cup win, I don't feel like I can really be too upset about the team regardless what happens... swedishseven 9 Report post Posted March 14, 2009 this team is supposed to be playing a "puck-posession" style game and i've noticed that when we have lots of give-aways or sloppy/missed passes the wings game seems to crumble.Also,i've noticed this inability to clear the puck from our zone sometimes allowing almost power-play ice time in our zone from our opponent...i get frightened now when it's in our end for any length of time,the wings seem to get flustered and next thing you know the pucks in the back of the net..
