Some of us are interested in the Sharks games for two very simple reasons: 1) we're competing with them for the President's trophy and #1 spot (which might have advantages come the semi-final round), and 2) because some of us like hockey beyond just the Red Wings.

Why I said "direct rival" was because we've been fighting for the top spot in the conference with them all season. So yeah, wins/losses for both teams are magnified, especially right now.

Officiating is a part of the game. My complaints about the officiating is very relevant to a game thread started about the Sharks regardless if you like those thoughts or not.

However, should I remind you where you're posting at? If you shake your wang in a crocodile pit, don't be surprised if it gets chomped off. We're Wings fans, we hate the Sharks. We want them to lose. We don't accept excuses for why they lost, they just flat-out lost. So while you're free to post here as often as you want, understand that you're being treated as an enemy in hostile territory.

You're a little overdramatic. A poster was under the impression that Sharks have never been past the second round and I simply was just stating a fact that it wasn't true.
