NY Rangers @ Boston (under way)

New Jersey @ Buffalo, 7pm ET

Pittsburgh @ Carolina, 7pm ET

Tampa Bay @ NY Islanders, 7pm ET

Philly @ Ottawa, 7pm ET

Montreal @ Toronto, 7pm ET

St. Louis @ Dallas, 8pm ET

Columbus @ Nashville, 8pm ET

Vancouver @ Edmonton, 10pm ET

Anaheim @ San Jose, 10pm ET

Phoenix @ Los Angeles, 10:30pm ET

The 4 games in bold are the ones that affect the Wings and who they play. The Columbus/Nashville, St. Louis/Dallas, and Vancouver/Edmonton games should be good, and some might also want to check out the Anaheim/San Jose game.

I think the Pittsburgh/Carolina game might be good too since both teams are playoff bound and fighting for that 4/5 spot in the East.

The Ducks are in tough... 7th place, 1 up of St. Louis, 2 on Nashville, 3 on Minnesota... but next two games are a home and home with the Sharks...

I'm still torn on whether I want to see them miss or be able to cheer against them in round 1

OH yeah! Some contests to watch, indeed. And thanks for the input. I'll be checking them all out, except probably for Phx/LA - after MSU plays Connecticut. GO, Spartans!!!! :carrot:

The game between the Ducks and the Sharks is going to be a good one. I think it will be very physical and entertaining especially since they play again tomorrow.

The moment of truth for the Ducks...

Tough call on who to root for in the San Jose/Anaheim game. I would like to believe we still have an outside chance to catch San Jose for the conference lead and Anaheim whom I definitely don't want to play in the 1st could easily catch the 6th spot assuming they keep their hot streak. Yet I would love San Jose to be forced to play Anaheim in the 1st round and if the Sharks win tonight it'll make that become more likely along with St Louis winning tonight could make the Blues our 1st round match up which I would adore. Gah! too much to think about!

Jason Williams scored to tie it up 4-4 with Nashville, with 1:48 to play. Dallas beat St. Louis in OT. I like it! ;)

Double minor in OT to CB, with about 3:30 to play. I'm pretty sure Bonk laid on the ice and clawed at his face.... <_<

I hope your team wins tonight and tomorrow Duck Dude.

If Wings win 5 of 5 and SJ wins 2 of 5, we can take fist in our conference again.

Bad start for the Sharks but then picked it up towards the end of the period.

And I would just like to point out that I hate the extra OT point since most of the teams the Sharks and Detroit could face in the 1st round got at least a point tonight.

So am I reading the standings right - that at the moment Anaheim and St. Louis are tied?

Yes in Pts. but they are higher in standings because ducks have 2 more wins then the blues

ana currently in 7th and stl in 9th

hey look duckies scored :)

I'll take Ducks over Nashville or CBJ. St.Louis would be a great first round team to play.

I'd rather have Nashville or CBJ. Not only are the Ducks physical, but I'm not going to be quick to count out the wealth of experience on their team.
