Mike 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2009 The Flames must be the Wings tonight because they are being shafted by the refs. I know the penalties are legit, but the Hawks are getting away with a lot.
Third Man In 2,091 Report post Posted April 21, 2009 This will be a good experience for the Hawks--they've absolutely wilted under the Flames' pressure this period. It might even allow the Flames to survive all the idiot penalties they're taking.
Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted April 21, 2009 Duncan Keith is not very good.. jesus he's made more dumbass plays in these three games then any of the other defenceman by far.
Mike 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2009 The Hawks trying to goon it up is funny because they suck at it.

Mike 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2009 (edited) Are you allowed to talk trash when you are losing? You have nothing to run your mouth about. Edited April 21, 2009 by Mike
Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted April 21, 2009 I love that Dave Bolland, he was ******* giving it to Iginla, I've never seen trash talk get to Iginla like this.

Third Man In 2,091 Report post Posted April 21, 2009 Calgary upset about goon tactics--err, 'sending a message'--at the end of a game? Ah, irony.

Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted April 21, 2009 These guys and their egos. Take a loss like a man. Go down fighting, this is the playoffs. Just because the Wings dont do it doesnt mean it isnt part of hockey. (But the Wings never need to take losses like men, cuz they dont lose in the playoffs )

(But the Wings never need to take losses like men, cuz they dont lose in the playoffs ) You can fight, but don't cross-check a guy and break your stick in half because you did it so hard. That's cheap shot hockey.

Well, that was just ridiculous. I agree with you, he should've just hammered Bourque, not try to injure him. Burish is a dirtbag anyway, Iginla is gonna get him, who knows when, but he's gonna. Vladifan 680 Report post Posted April 21, 2009 Pierre McGuire was just saying they ought to get Iginla off the ice before he gets hurt. Didn't watch a whole lot of this game except the tail-end of the fight. But I gotta tell you my first thought when I heard Iginla's name was how he was pounding Schneider coming up the ice in (I believe) a playoff game, plus other s*** that he was not called on in that series. NO call. NO suspension. If he's getting some of it back that's just fine and dandy with me.

He was going after Schnieder trying to spark something out of his team, now he's getting beaked everytime he's on the ice, it's gonna get way worse for Chicago. xBrave_Heartx 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2009 figured i try to go to bed and a mini brawl almost erupts.. and when i wake up i hear that something epic happened.. i should have learned by now, not to doubt the flames..

Actually it doesn't seem like they can. The Zebras are in the middle of everything and anything so quick its sick. Maybe if they let some guys actually fight things would cool off a bit and there wouldn't be so many cheapshots.
10 Minute Misconduct 104 Report post Posted April 21, 2009 Calgary should be up in this series, if they didn't choke away either game 1 or 2 they would be. Huge loss with Regier out also.
Vladiator 116 Report post Posted April 21, 2009 (edited) Yeah this Hawks/Flamers series is getting funner to watch. Things are starting to goon up with that series. Thinking Columbus is really gonna start gooning things up too with their size. Gonna be a fun game to watch, probably a 50/50 split in fans down there at the game.
