Third Man In 2,091 Report post Posted April 22, 2009 I think the Hawks have lost their focus a bit and lose tonight. Caps have gotten over their jitters since going on the road and win again. Bruins win by forfeit.
8 Legged RedWing 367 Report post Posted April 22, 2009 I think the Habs will steal one here, then the caps and chicago both winning. Should all three be good games though.
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 22, 2009 Since my HD signal went to crap until someone from the satellite company figures out what's wrong exactly, I'm stuck with the Bruins/Habs game.

Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted April 22, 2009 Lundqvist is so good right now. I've watched most of the games and he has been by far the best goalie in the playoffs thus far.

Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 22, 2009 (edited) Oh boy.. Habs allow another one late in the first. Beautiful tic-tac play by Lucic and Krejci. 2-1 Bruins going into the 1st intermission. Thomas was also waaaaayy out of the net and Chara blocked a side-to-side pass for a one-time slapshot that should've been a game-tying goal. FinRedWing 172 Report post Posted April 22, 2009 Come on Caps, let's not go back to not scoring mode! Ovie needs one bad,he's making history with all those shots he's had in the series.
Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 I don't understand why the Versus studio show just doesn't copy CBC's shamelessly, in an effort to not suck. They just regurgitate hockey headlines on VS; guess what guys, I already read about the big bad Hawks talking tough to Iginla, and I didn't care back then. Ron, Don, and Kelly Hrudey actually talk about the ******* game and break down plays and show cool little details that are happening all the time in games and get missed. TheOwl 77 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 (edited) Washington looks like Russia in the 2006 Olympics. Every pass across half the ice looking for a break away, every shot from the top of the circle. Ovechkin is getting a lot of shots, but no great chances. He's a one man army, just like Nash in the Columbus series. No support, can't win 1 on 3 battles. No goalie is worse then Theodore in the playoffs. How could they sign him. He hasn't recovered from the lock out, and melts down under even minor pressure. From Vezina to glorified back-up in only 2 seasons. Edited April 23, 2009 by TheOwl
whitneydatsyukrox 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 Lundqvist is so good right now. I've watched most of the games and he has been by far the best goalie in the playoffs thus far. QFT. Minus December (I believe) in the regular season, his stats were mind-blowing. Held the team together for most of they year when they couldn't even score. And I think the Rangers can do it tonight. Montreal seems done, and I think Chicago will manage a win tonight. I want their series to go long, but it would be nice for Chicago to safely make it to the 2nd round.
