Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 I assume the Hawks will get the customary last power play and chance to tie late.

Mike 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 Is it me or are TSN huge flamer homers? Of course they are, the Flames are from Canada.
Mike 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 Best series of the playoffs by far.
Shaman 713 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 Of course they are, the Flames are from Canada. I am aware of that, but usually TSN has the hardon for the eastern canada teams not the western ones.
Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 Well, they didn't give the Hawks a power play, but they completely ignored a blatant trip on Iginla there in order to preserve the empty net advantage. No matter, he had another go at it, 6-4 and a tie series.

YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 That wasn't a hand pass. Langkow batted the puck down, but Nystrom's (or whoever it was next to him) stick never touched the puck. There was about an inch of space between his stick and the puck, and Langkow ended up picking up the puck, and essentially getting his own hand pass.
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 23, 2009 What's funny to me is right after Mark Spector of Sportsnet hands it to Jokinen, he has a huge game and helps Calgary score up and down on the Hawks. I've always enjoyed irony. Maybe he should've waited til the end of the postseason to suggest Jokinen sucks and the Flames don't know what to do with him. Looks to me like he's still playing on the big line and producing.
