Pierre McGuire just said "It's a bad position for the Penguins to be in when they're two men down to the Caps. They have to stay at least 5 on 4...they'd prefer to be 5 on 5." I'm not making this up.

CBC is just like NBC, they both hate the Wings.

Yesh...in fact NBC is talking about the Brown hit right now...Mike Milbury: "That's just part of the game."

NBC to hockey knowledge is like crack to brain cells.

He's only bad on NBC. When he's with Gord Miller on TSN he's fine.

Nope....

Wow.....

Wasn't expecting that.

I love Bill Guerin, and I hate it that I'm having to cheer against his team. Why couldn't he have stayed with the crappy Isles and then it wouldn't have been an issue???

Don't tell me that!!! :D

Pierre's flaming dork.

Sorry but it was beautiful to watch

Meh, whatever CBC is just upset that the Red Wings probably have the least amount of Canadians on the championship winning team.

I disagree, I find him far more intolerable when watching TSN.

To let something like that spill over into your analysis of a hockey game shows zero journalistic integrity by CBC.

Gord Miller doesn't let him yap as much during the game. With NBC, they sit there and talk throughout so he can sit there and have retarded conversations about random crap with Olczyk, who seems to think we all want to hear his banter over the play by play. He is faaaar worse with NBC. It's not even close.

It's true though

I know. It's just sad that something stupid like where players are from should even matter.

I'm not so sure, every broadcast has their local twist on it. If you watch FS Red Wings, they will talk more about guys like Thomas or Miller coming from Michigan. They are targetting their audience and trying to appeal to their viewing pleasure.

It's no surprise that every Hockey Night in Canada has a Leafs game and most of the pre-game stuff is Toronto focused.

I agree about the HNIC stuff and the article regarding it was right on the nose about their lack of dissenting views on the matter.

Caps finally bringing it to the Pens. 2nd has been tilted the opposite way from the 1st.

Ken and Mickey may say that those guys are from Michigan, but they don't insinuate that them being from Michigan makes them good players, something that HNIC does with Canadian players.
