I can't think of a time when they had the puck for more than two consecutive seconds after two except for the power play. They were lucky to get to the third just trailing by one. Wombat 26 Report post Posted May 4, 2009 Lots of positives from this game. Stuart was incredible... probably the best game I've seen him play as a Wing. Lidstrom was dominating. From the 3rd period on, the Zetterberg line was great, shutting down Getzlaf et al. and getting good offensive chances to boot. Helm is everything Draper used to be and more. CrossCheck24 2 Report post Posted May 4, 2009 If the shoe was on the other foot, and the Ducks had Pronger and Boucheman hurt, this game would have been much different. This reminded me too much of game 5 of the SCF last year. Wings dominate the OTs only to have the opposing goalie steal the game.
