But they weren't in their rooms... they were in a public area. You have GOT to be trolling.

Yah, look at the pictures and see all the other red wings fans. It's like a parade out there in that public area, I tell ya. I'm allowed to have my opinion, right? OR do I have to go along with all the other posters and say "Great job, girl. Bikinis and cameras. Way to go, girl. Great shots." The Wings are cool guys and put up with it. That's great of them. I'd be more than willing to bet that they weren't overexcited about it, though. Datsyuk's house is probably on a public street, too. But if we go to his house and take pictures of him kicking a soccer ball in his front yard to his friend, you think he's going to like that? No. Neither would you. The players offer the fans plenty of other times to get in photo opportunities and get in autograph sessions, etc. To follow them to their lodgings and disrupt them with fan stuff is out of line. Maybe not to you. But to me, it's over the top.

Jealous? Of what? I've met all these guys. But I didn't have to follow them to their hotel rooms where they were enjoying their PRIVACY to do it. Go to Traverse City in September, and all these guys are happy to joke around with everybody there. There is a little thing that most of us live with in this world called "demeanor".

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/demeanor

Some of us have proper demeanor and allow others their space, time off from their work, and privacy. Some of us don't. The players hold special media days, fan days, and other events that are designed to allow the fans of the team get in tight with the players. To go to this level to get beyond that barrier is a bit crass, in my opinion. to the Wings hotel room crashers.

Quit trolling, they are a famous team in a public venue.. What do they expect?

I'm sure the lady was courteous enough not to cause problems and I'm sure the Wings are used to people taking photos.

Quit trying to hold yourself so damn high and think we should idolize your "demeanor". You sound completely arrogant.

Would it not be proper "demeanor" to let others live their lives without you scolding them about what they believe to be respectful or not too?

I think you are over the top. I think you lack demeanor by calling these fans out. Get over yourself.

Listen to you! The irony here is sickening! Do I HAVE to like paparazzi? I never knew that I had to like paparazzi. I thought I was entitled to MY OWN opinion. Maybe not.

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/paparazzo

Is there anything that this poster did that doesn't fit into that definition? NO. Simply, she is a paparazzo. I'm not saying she's a bad person. I'm not trying to tell her how to live her life. I'm simply saying that doing what she did goes beyond ardent fan and into another category. That's all. Agreed?

No, I don't agree with you.

You are entitled to your opinion, but if your going to call out others, it should be fitting others can do it too, no?

I don't see how she "aggressively pursues" the Red Wings when she clearly states they were near where she lives. I don't see how you have a right to insult others and call them then "psycho" because you do not like her idea of taking photos.

I can play the same game as you and throw in dictionary terms too: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/psycho. Please tell to me how she relates to that description.

And what happens if EVERY fan takes this course of action?

I see what you are saying. And believe me, I like her enthusiasm for the team. I just think that going to their hotel to take pictures of them after there plans get leaked is out of line. I think this is an invasion of privacy.

Well, the players smiled for the pics. And they didn't ask/force her to leave, so I'd say that the Wings didn't think it was out of line.

They didn't have a problem with it, and in this instance their opinion of it is what mattered. So, to me, that means their opinion of the events makes your opinion irrelevant.
