shoe 165 Report post Posted May 23, 2009 I dont know what it was about last nights game 3 in Chicago but I did not enjoy watching the "game presentation" its self. I really didnt like the CBC crew or their announcers. I found the TSN presentation for the 1st 2 games to be much better and more interesting. I did not enjoy the way CBC did the intermission show with the guys perched in the stands somewhere it was way too loud in the background even though they were "there" it seemed like they were so drowned out by the background noise they wernt. All the satalite and back to our studio in god could have been Oshawa Ontario really got away from the game feel as well. Anyone else notice how often the term "outlet pass" was used last night. Change it up a bit eh! Im one of those guys that likes tradition and thinks CBC has earned the right to televise these games in the playoffs over TSN but if they keep presenting games this way I'll change my mind really quickly, as of now I think TSN > CBC
HadThomasVokounOnFortSt 878 Report post Posted May 23, 2009 I have always liked TSN, they seem more of the hockey network to me.
sixer 37 Report post Posted May 23, 2009 TSN for sure! CBC and Kelly Hrudey are horrible, PQ is worse and they're certainly not as informed as TSN. Too bad it's all CBC from now. Hopefully TSN will get everything in the future!
SDavis35 140 Report post Posted May 23, 2009 Bob Cole is my favourite announcer; Kelly Hrudey is annoying and the intermissions on CBC suck. I would love to have the chance to watch Bob Cole' play-by-play and then Bob Mackenzie and co. do the analysis. As long as I don't have to hear McQuire. The CBC guys last night though were annoying. I'd be okay with Chris Cuthbert and/or Gord Miller. But it would be a dream come true to hear Ken and Mickey
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted May 23, 2009 (edited) I've liked TSN as well. Sorry Cole but let Bowen in and take a step down. TSN is fine with Gord Miller who is, in my mind, the best announcer in the NHL bar-none for the last handful of years.
