Everytime I look at Hossa his getting killed out there. I mean its ridiculous cause it's not hockey anymore. I saw so many time Hossa getting kneed / held / interfered and nothing. It's a shame because this guy would kill the 'Pens if we actually played hockey.

Props to him tho I just have a feeling tho that his going to explode next game due. Also watch out for Helm next game. These 2 are going to be realy dangerous.

Pens are really taking advantage of the reffing and busting Hossa.

Pens are really taking advantage of the reffing and busting Hossa.

game 1 pens are 0/2 on the powerplay, game 2 they are 1/1 and game 3 they are 2/3.

they are 3/6 on the powerplay in 3 games. out of 6 goals, 1 was empty net and 3 were on the powerplay.

the pens average 2 powerplays a game!

the refs in game 3 were the same as the refs in game 1, a game which i feel was beautifully officiated. the big blunder in game 3 was too many men, a call the linesmen make, not the refs.

now lets say i agree that the reffing has been terrible (which I dont.) we are killing 1 out of every 2 powerplays. the pens are taking advantage of our s***ty PK. this is our problem. this is why we almost lost to anaheim and this is what cost us game 3. thats it. our penalty killing all year has been atrocious.

just for reference, game 1 wins were 0 for 2, game 2 not including the 18 seconds at the end of the game the wings were 0 for 1 and game 3 we were 1 for 2.

so the pens are 3 for 6 on powerplays and we are 1 for 4 and we scored 7 even strength goals and they scored 2 not including an empty netter. its obvious the way this series has been called favors the wings tremendously because even strength we destroy the pens, but special teams they are twice as good statistically this series.

sounds like another poor excuse for a useless thread to me. they're playing hockey, period.

My comment had nothing to do with the original topic other than it was about Hossa. I didn't want to start a new thread. Maybe I should've because this one, ironically, shouldn't be kept alive.
