Theophany 110 Report post Posted June 11, 2009 Yeah, I forsee Helm taking over years down the road after Zata is ready to give up the C. (That is, of course, after Lids gives up the C to Zata.) He may not ever be Stevie Y or Mr Perfect, but he's already been fantastic for the team, and 10 years down the road, I can definitely see him as a leader on this team. Z Winged Dangler 2,082 Report post Posted June 11, 2009 there's more to leading a team than getting 165 points in a season... yzerman learned that a few years into his career and flourished into the best captain the game has ever seen, maybe ever will see. zetterberg has similar qualities as yzerman, which is why he's my favorite player (after yzerman retired) helm reminds me alot of the shane doan type of leader...get out there and work harder than the guy you're playing against. i could see him as the captain after z Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
