Thanks for the Season Marian

The irony about the bold here is people here were making fun of Penguins fans that felt betrayed by Hossa and were upset like an angry ex. Oh how the tables have turned for a good portion of this board.

Personally I have no problem with being pissed at him, that is why i am a "Fan". 7 mill for 1 year and he bombed in the playoffs. Sorry we couldn't accomodate his dream to win a cup but maybe he should contributed a little more.

Yeah but who cares? Why compare ourselves to Pens fans? The new breed of Crosby socialites has called for Webster to redefine the word moron.

Pretty much. He's not overreacting exactly like a Pens fan, but overreacting like Wings fans are, pretending like there's a reason to be upset at Hossa for leaving, even if it isn't coupled with booing.

Are you f***in blind or do you just not know how to read my replies?

f***in blind. Beyond "I said don't boo", "yeah, but at least we have an excuse to be mad at Hossa!", and "don't be Pens fans [but ***** just like them]", I'm probably missing a whole lot, aren't I?

I know you were trying to be sarcastic but actually, you did miss alot. You missed the part where I said i wasn't justifying their behavior. I don't think it's ok.

Some people just live to pick arguments.

Justifying their behavior = booing, since that is what you criticize.. exactly what I addressed in that previous post. Bitching like an angry ex is also what they did and the same thing you're doing, and like them, also trying to make it valid when it really isn't. I know I never misunderstood nor did I miss reading anything, which is why I was a smartass. I doubt many are excited about the fact that he didn't re-sign and ultimately signing with a division rival but given the way previous players have left (Fedorov), this is on very good terms and certainly never kept the Wings waiting on him, having the full first day of free agency to find a replacement if Kenny wanted. Personally he sounds happy with his decision and so am I. He picked a good team to go to who are up and coming, with possible salary implications to deal with in the near future. It could very well be another backfiring if he doesn't win a cup. I'm pretty excited to see what will happen next season.

I`M NOT CONDONING THEIR BEHAVIOR

YOU THINK I`M JUSTIFYING THEIR BEHAVIOR WHEN I`M NOT AND IVÈ MADE IT CLEAR, AND YOU JUST IGNORE MY OTHER POSTS

I`M NOT MAD AT HIM, I WISH HIM THE BEST, I WON`T BOO HIM AND SAID NO ONE ELSE SHOULD BE MAD

Sorry but you seem to be a ******* moron so I had to put it into terms you could easily understand. That or you`re one of the dime a dozen internet attention whores lobbying for a public pissing contest.

In the same post, you suggest, "at least we have more of a reason" to my post talking about pissy Wings fans. You should probably read your own posts -- obviously I do a better job than you do. Capslock won't make up for your own choice of words.

*facepalm*

at least we have more of a reason does not equate to we have a good reason.

So if I suggested, from a recent post of mine, Greeks at least had a reason to protest, then turn around to criticize protesters, I doubt many people are going to give two s***s about the fact that I criticized protesters and are going to focus on why I would suggest they have a good reason to. As mentioned, you should try following your own posts. I iterated your "points" time and time again, which evidently fell to the blind eye I'm accused of having. Lots of irony here.

What, was "oh, ok" too much for your pride to take?

Your entire stance is still built on me justifying criticizing Hossa. I didn't justify it. More of a reason doesn't equate to a good reason or sometimes even a reason. There are different levels of wrong you know. You're just confused and lacking perspective.

Entire stance? You wouldn't need to suggest our fans have a reason to be angry, particularly more than the Penguins, if you didn't mean they had no reason to be angry. Simple as that. If this truly isn't what you meant, you wouldn't be typing it. But alas, it's me who's confused and lacking perspective, instead of your inability to understand your own posts. Talk about utter failure.

Oh my god. This is like explaining colors to a blind man. I never said they had a good reason to be mad or even a legit reason at all. It's just less stupid than what Pitt fans are doing.

Now I can tell you fancy yourself an intellectual, whether justified or not is up for debate, so if you can't understand that, it's clear you're just out to start a shouting match. Or you're too proud to just admit you wrongly assumed something. Which I think is the case.

And all I explained was, you're no different for assuming it's less stupid, or, that Wings fans have any better of a reason to be upset. Really, it's a farce, along with the hilarity that sprung up as a result of you ignoring your own post.

Sorry Mr. I-luv-Capslock, I'll stop shouting now, and we won't address any part of your post you don't like, nor address your double entendre. I'm just too proud. Peace out.

Bingoooo. This is where you contradict yourself and prove you were wrong. You weren't arguing that I was saying it was less stupid, you were saying I was justifying acting like Pens fans.

Nice little slip up there.

Oh and sorry for the caps lock, apparently it still didn't drive a simple point home. I should've added periods and mashed the space bar between words so you could more slowly and thoroughly interpret the content.

In conversations with my sister right after the Wings were eliminated I told her I hoped Hossa would sign somewhere elce because we would have to lose too many players to keep him...........I personally think he was trying too hard to score to justify his decision to sign with the Wings and consequently couldn't get anything done. I think he would have produced much better had we not been playing the Penguins......... I SOOooooooo want to see him sitting on the ice watching the WINGS celebrate kicking the Hawks ass in the playoffs next year..... :champs: Eat your heart out turd, (I didn't want him to stay but he's still a turd for leaving)..we did it before and we can do it again............

I love the irony and hypocrsy of some Wings fans on here.

Pittsburgh loses to Detroit - a team they hate. Hossa goes to them. Wings fans think Penguins fans are mental retards for getting angry at Hossa for the reasons Hossa left and said they were oh so much better than Penguins fans.

Hossa goes to Chicago, a team that Wings fans are starting to dislike a bit more. Of course, Wings fans go apes**t on Hossa leaving.

It is very amusing.

And don't even come back at me with, "Well Hossa was here all year, and was just with Pittsburgh for a 1/4 season!" We all knew Hossa might just be with the Wings for one year, a "rental" in a different sense.

I hate that he didn't produce overall but he wasn't dragging rear end or not trying like some in here want to believe, and that doesn't change that he's still one of the better players in the league today.

Some in here aren't better than Penguins fans like they claim. The hypocrisy is just very funny.

Best of luck to Hossa in Chicago.
