5 - Deadline for player-elected salary arbitration.

6 - Deadline for club-elected salary arbitration.

10 - Deadline for eligible players to elect Group 5 free agency.

20 - Salary arbitration hearings begin. Mid-to-late July - Likely date for release of 2009-10 NHL season schedule.

August

4 - Last day for salary arbitration hearings.

October

2-3 - 2009-10 NHL season begins with four games in Europe. Detroit Red Wings play the St. Louis Blues in Stockholm, and Chicago Blackhawks play the Florida Panthers in Helsinki.

February

16 - Olympic men's hockey tournament opens in Vancouver.

28 - old Medal Game at mens's Olympic Hockey tournament.

I was looking for the deadline for arbitration...so this means that we may not know til August 4th at the latest what the outcome is?????
