DETROIT -- The Red Wings announced today that the club has agreed to terms with defenseman Travis Ehrhardt on a three-year entry level deal.

Ehrhardt, 20, played in 68 games for the Portland Winter Hawks of the Western Hockey League in 2008-09. He finished the season with 37 points (9-28—37) and 109 PIM. Ehrhardt also appeared in three games for the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.

Meh. No idea whats going on with his surname.

He fought Derek Dorsett in 06-07, Derek didn't recieve a FM, so i assume Ehrnhardnt jumped him :D

Other then that looking at his Fightcard, it seems like alot of heat of the moment fightings, because stuff like roughing/spearing/misconducts came from the fights. Other then FIGHTS, He put up some impressive numbers during his stay in the WHL.

3 - M.H Dorsett, 18:36 - Major-Fighting , 5 min

3 - M.H Stevens, 18:36 - Major-Fighting , 5 min

3 - M.H Stevens, 18:36 - Game-Second Fight , 20 min

3 - M.J Ehrhardt, 18:36 - Major-Fighting , 5 min

3 - M.J Ehrhardt, 18:36 - Major-Fighting , 5 min

3 - M.J Ehrhardt, 18:36 - Game-Second Fight , 20 min

Hes one of the prospects who is currently attending the summer strength and conditioning camp in Detroit this week.

Thanks for posting this stuff. I like to know about every Wing prospect but I don't really follow GR as much as I should.
