VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted August 5, 2009 Not obnoxious, but "giving Americans a bad name", of blind and dull-headed servitude and popular meme's like support ribbons as a political statement. Highly embarrassing. You know what else is highly embarassing? Tools running around apologizing to nations in the world far more guilty of arrogance and bad policy than we are. Jackass. Number19 159 Report post Posted August 5, 2009 Never liked his personality. But the man could play some good hockey. I know a lot of people will remember him as a Blackhawk. But I will always remember him as a Coyote. I remember the Roenick/Tkachuk line giving our team fits. We actually had quite a little rivalry going with the Yotes in the late 90s. I actually miss those hideous old Yotes jerseys. They were so ugly I liked them. Very unique. I wish J.R. the best. He's probably going to the best damn sports show or something. lolI still remember that playoff series in 98.

Guest micah Report post Posted August 5, 2009 (edited) We should also call the parents of Bowe Bergdahl and let them know their towns ribbon tying is embarrassing and it should be stopped. After all he is just some dull-headed servant of the U.S. who has a slim chance of ever making it home based off how prisoners were treated by the Taliban in the past. I'll have to give my mom a call and tell her she shouldn't have put that ribbon magnet on her car because it gives the country a bad name. Thinking back, man that really was stupid of her to show support for her two sons deployed to Iraq... Thank you for your service to the this great country. I might not always agree with every mission our Soldiers, Sailers, Airmen, and Marines have been tasked with, but they will always have my respect and my support. Good on ya. Shake your brother's hand and give your mom a hug for me, eh? On topic: I liked and will miss JR. Edited August 5, 2009 by micah
