With more regular season games than ever before, TSN and TSN2 present its 124-game NHL ON TSN broadcast schedule for the 2009-10 regular season. All games will be available nationally in High Definition. Games and highlights will also be available on-demand on TSN.ca. This year's combined 124-game national broadcast package is part of TSN/TSN2's multi-year broadcast and digital rights agreement with the NHL. A total of 89 regular season games will air on TSN, with 70 games featuring at least one Canadian team. TSN2's regular season schedule features 35 live NHL games showcasing non-Canadian teams. In addition, TSN and TSN2 will produce and televise a total of six pre-season games featuring each of the six Canadian clubs. Regular season coverage on TSN gets under way on Thursday, Oct. 1 with an NHL opening night doubleheader featuring Washington @ Boston at 7pm et/4pm pt, immediately followed by San Jose @ Colorado at 10pm et/7pm pt.
