I love the kid. I have watched his scrap with Hal Gill quite a bit and it never seems to get old.

He's not afraid of anyone,very noticeable when he's on the ice.Sacrifices the body to block shots.I really like this kid.

It seems that most of the posters here DO in fact love this Rypien kid - that's to be expected though, as polls consistantly show that hockey fans, coaches, and players like hockey fights. It stands to reason that they would like someone who is so skilled at hockey fighting.

Maybe Snazzy really loves hockey fights, but he thinks there's no room in the game for hard working kids like Rypien. Maybe he'd rather see guys like Zetterburg and Datsyuk start fighting, I dunno, I can't answer for him. Maybe he doesn't like hockey fights, because they don't require skill (as evidenced by the fact that everyone who has tried their hand at fighting in hockey being so great at it).
