NGKEIB 32 Report post Posted October 13, 2009 1. Mike Richards - by far my favourite player in the NHL 2. Getzlaf - Guys a playoff machine and plays a similiar game to Richards 3. Wendel CLark - Like many said he was a wing but not in his glory days. 4. Scott Stevens - Biggest hitter of all time. 5. Lindros - In his prime one of the best players I've watched Yeah I picked classic power forwards because theyre the real hockey players. Guys who get their noses dirty but can still get the pretty goals and beat someone up the next shift. Wow, I had no idea that Scott Stevens was a power forward! kook_10 1,705 Report post Posted October 13, 2009 Was a Wing. I forgot about that (despite having him in my avatar). That was the year I (and Tiger too) moved to LA - I was 9. All of those great childhood memories were of purple and gold goonery.

BeeRYCE 2 Report post Posted October 13, 2009 1. Pavel Bure 2. Ilya Kovalchuk (There's still hope!!!) < not. 3. Alexander Mogilny 4. Sergei Berezin 5. Teemu Selanne How could anyone like this guy? He never passed the puck. No passion, no fire, no defensive awareness, just a little bit of flash in the offensive end. I like the other players on your list, but a little bit of North American pride wouldn't hurt...

hak 21 Report post Posted October 14, 2009 Yeah I'm a biased swede. Tre kronor were my heroes as I grew up. Didn't have much access to the NHL when I was younger so no players has stuck on me more than these guys.... yet. This list will probably change as time goes by. Ovechkin will probably have a top 3 spot pretty soon. Forsberg as #1 will never change tho. 1. Peter forsberg 2. Mats sundin 3. Markus näslund 4. Daniel Alfredsson 5. Teemu selänne (I've hated him mostly due to the rivalry to finland but I have always admired him and his skills and have a deep respect for him. When all is said and done he is one of my favorite players all time) HM: Havlat Lemieux Gaborik Ovechkin Lundqvist Bure Neely Lindros Iginla
