cjm502 165 Report post Posted November 3, 2009 I thought this was pretty funny, also quite ironic. I dislike Wisniewski for his douchebaggery, especially for what he said in his interview about Homer in the playoffs last year. Cheap Wisniewski hit on Doan early in the Yotes - Ducks game on Saturday. name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>&"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /> Doan "sticking up for himself" later in the game. name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>&"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /> Wisniewski suspended 2 games for hit on Doan

Statts 4 Report post Posted November 3, 2009 (edited) Definitely suspension worthy and props to Doan for sticking up for himself. Edit: Where is Doc Emery when you need him, because that was a "forearm shiver." Edited November 3, 2009 by Statts
miller76 463 Report post Posted November 3, 2009 Good clips. It figures though it's Brian Hayward on the commentary. He is the biggest homer I have listened too. Glad he got suspended for it though.
Duckboy6 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2009 Good clips. It figures though it's Brian Hayward on the commentary. He is the biggest homer I have listened too. Glad he got suspended for it though. It was not suspension worthy. Phaneuf has been doing that the last 4 seasons. Penalty sure but suspension??? No
cjm502 165 Report post Posted November 3, 2009 It was not suspension worthy. Phaneuf has been doing that the last 4 seasons. Penalty sure but suspension??? No Yeah, Phaneuf lays out huge unnecessary open ice hits, but he does not jam his forearm in to the other players chins when he does it. I would be fine with the hit if Wiz had his arm down, but he did not. Hockey players have complete control of their bodies, and to say he did it on accident it total BS. Guest Four Report post Posted November 3, 2009 It was not suspension worthy. Phaneuf has been doing that the last 4 seasons. Penalty sure but suspension??? No Not suspension worthy?! He just pretty much armed-bar him, but with his elbow instead of his forearm! Atta'boy Doan!
skyphoenix 153 Report post Posted November 3, 2009 I dont get why this was funny. Definitely suspension worthy though.
P. Marlowe 748 Report post Posted November 3, 2009 Doan sure wanted to get him back as Coyotes were in the middle of an offensive zone pressure when they started fighting. Yotes even had a nice looking scoring chance when they started going at it.
