Giguere to Red Wings?

This sounds absolutely ridiculous. I can't see this happening for any reason, mostly because of Giguere's salary... And, Detroit doesn't have a goalie issue. I'm sure Giguere would love to go somewhere that he wouldn't be a clear cut #1 again.

I can't believe you guys do see the positive in this!!

You see we trade Datsyuk strait up for Giggy! Then we have that #1 goalie!! And we have like a Million in Cap Room too, I think. And then, Ozzie can be traded.

I mean who wants to pay a goalie like Ozzie under $2million a year to bring us to the Stanley Cup Finals 2 years in a row when we can trade him AND DATSYUK for Giggy!! I mean come on guys, it's about time we got rid of both those losers. They have done NOTHING for us and we are paying a HUGE amount of money for those guys! They suck.

I can't wait till #13 is gone and that # opens up again. I hope Helm takes that number!

Holland's an ex-goalie, and the best GM in hockey today, possibly ever. If anyone out there is smart enough to see a waste of 6 million dollars, it should be him.

Giguere used to be good. Then he just turned into a complete immobile statue who is totally unable to improvise or even move his arms most of the time. He relied on excellent defensive systems that kept shots at the perimeter and swept up rebounds quickly. I'm not buying that bulls*** about emotional stress. When I see him play, I see a guy who bought into that stupid Francois Allaire robotic goaltending style and now it's killing him when he doesn't have an amazing defense.

I'd rather have many other goalies over him, and they all cost less than 6 million dollars.
