I have always cheered for them because that's how I was raised, but come on. Sure, they are one of the great hockey powers but nowhere near the greatest. miksteri 55 Report post Posted January 9, 2010 Finnish coaches are really good at selecting the guys who are good skaters and hard working, somehow forgetting that icehockey games are won by scoring goals, their desire to leave the goal scorers at home during the important tournaments... I own Swedish and Finnish jerseys, so those are my teams after US (where I live) and Canada (where I used to live). I just hate to have to choose between Sweden and Finland.
