Roenick is a damn s***bag, Serious! I hate people like him...the stereotypical egotistic american *******! (I'm not picking a fight with the American public as a whole but during these games I've REALLY noticed that alot of the states athletes really need to take it down a notch)

So if Canada wins gold in hockey I expect you to come back in here and chastise them for the celebration pile that will inevitably occur at the end of the game. The same percentage of Canadians go all celebratey when they win. THe only reason you notice it moreso with the US is because we are winning more medals and thus there are more opportunities to see someone celebrate. And you know what. As long as you arent saying "You suck!" or something to the losers celebrate all you want. This is a lifelong goal for many people. You dont celebrate then you dont have a pulse.

Nope, it's Fop.

And by the way, thank you for the best laugh I've had in a while. The "O Brother" reference was perfect.

Well, I'm a Dapper Dan man dammit, thank you very much. I'll just take whatever hairnets you have.

lol...I'll change it up because Im confused as to the agrument? Seriously how can you argue that the USA as a "whole" have gotten a stereotype of being slightly selfish overbearing pricks...that came with being the most powerful country in the world, at everything I might add this includes sports, politics and basicly everything under the sun, so it's not like it's not suprising a massive Ego would follow...Now Canada on the other hand has the stereotype of being very "Nice" and for god sakes other then that we have hockey, which we CAN battle for top stop along USA, Russia, Sweden, Finnland....You can't really argue these things, they are more less facts.

The only US person that has been annoying to me is Lindsey Jacobellis. The way she does her interviews she acts like she is gods gift to snowboarding.

well if I am indeed nit picking then just as they have the right to celebrate I have the right to nit pick...and YES it is because there from the USA! Did u see the juniors game a while ago when the States won? Look at every freakin goal scored in that game and watch the players reactions from either team!! I feel slightly embarrassed for people when they act this way, I was taught to not be a sore loser OR winner.

I'm not too big on overcelebration but I think some of this is just sour grapes over losing. The USA kids were constantly told that it is Canada's sport and that Canada was going to win so yeah it is a much bigger deal to them when they win.

So there is a bunch of kids playing the biggest game they have ever played, and are probably having the time of their lives to. They score some goals and celebrate. Good, their obviously having a great time. No reason to cut them down because of it.

You also have the longest confirmed sniper kill at 2,430 meters (or 1.51 miles) that is incredible and something I would brag about if I were Canadian.

Yeah, take it down a notch United States!

Absolutely true. I can't think of anything that is more showboat, arrogant, condescending, in your face, and yet more beloved and revered by Canada than Don Cherry.

Anybody see the look Roenick gave Milbury when he choose Sweden to beat Finland (intermission of USA/Canada)? My friends and I had to replay it a couple times because we were laughing so hard.

Of course, Finland still lost but it was a funny to see Roenick make Milbury's prediction seem idiotic. Him and McCarty needs to be on Vs. and NBC games more often to balance the lunacy.

I don't know names  but example being the female moguls, the girl that got bronze~which is awesome she got bronze she certainly earned it!!~but it "grinds my gears" when Athletes stand up there and scream stupid s***, jump up and down, fist pump and look simply ridiculous!

Dont get me wrong I love celebrations but I'm the kind of dude that thinks a true champion is a modest and humble one! But hey I should probably relax and to each is own lol

On another note...Shaun White is a ******* machine I remember this cat when he was 6 looking up to Terje! Wow he certainly learned alot from Mr. Haakonsen fo sho!

Wait...you say you don't like these cocky American assholes, but then you bring up Shaun White?

I love Shaun White, he throws his arms up and yells on a regular basis, and when he won he chucked his snowboard as hard as he could. Was that humble enough for you?

I lol'd at that actually but I hardly think that having beer and champaign after the game while alone in the arena is that big of a deal, like Jonny M swillng the canadian pint after he one on the streets of whistler lol...as for shaun white I think he is in that group of elite that allows for this sort of thing, to an extent.

The slideshow they linked was cool, I like women who like beer. They carried a lot of pressure for quite awhile and they deserve a cold one. Christ, it was Canadian beer a least. You go ladies, a job well done.

As for the cigars, I guess Red Auerbach wouldn't last long around there.
