Canada v. Slovakia: Well, it looks like we succeeded in pissing off team canada. They are playing even better than people imagined they could have right now. Slovakia got sort of lucky beating the Swedes too. Lundqvist really let those guys down I thought. All signs point to this game being a brutal beating.

USA v. Finland: Finland nor the Chzechs were really impressive in their game last night. I think that the US will come out aggressive and really control the pace of the game. Kiprusoff will make it close, for sure, though. He might even play well enough for them to win a low scoring contest. We'll need a very solid defensive game, and another good performance from Miller to win. Our aggressive forecheck should be able to keep enough pressure on this soft 'eurotrash' team to put at least a couple in though.

The defense from Sweden sucked hard. Lundqvist let in 1 soft goal I thought after looking at the replays.

But yes I do see Canada going to the gold medal game along with USA

My prediction is that if the games are close, rednecks and can*eh*dians will get away murder in the rink, while eurotrash teams will get time in the box for lesser "crimes"

Halak has been playing great in this tourney. I wouldn't put it past them to come out on top. I think Canada can dominate the team but if Halak plays great it changes everything.

This game should be good barring both goalies come out to play. Kipper vs. Miller. I would love to see this game come down to goal tending but I think the Yanks have a stronger team and it might not make it that far.

I think Slovakia is a good team, but Canada is hitting it's stride. 5-1 Canucks.

I just went to NHL.com and had to laugh at 2 of their headlines. "Canada aware of Slovakia" and "US aware that they have to go through Finland for the gold".

Wow. They can actually prepare now. Wonder if they told the Finns and Slovaks who they were playing?

Miller will, once again, pull the team to victory. Rafalski will, again, show that he plays better with Team USA than with the Wings

Also, can we have the hookup for a good quality stream in here? Last time, someone simply posted the direct link to the NBC feed, bypassing the provider authorization nonsense. It worked great.
