cusimano_brothers 1,655 Report post Posted April 1, 2010 With all the negative publicity the NHLPA has received lately, regarding a lack of leadership and floundering with no real sense of direction, I'm adding this link from today's Toronto Star, showing an example of the good work they are doing to help to promote the game. Bravo!
Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted April 1, 2010 For the past 10 years the NHLPA, it turns out, has been using the proceeds of various licensing agreements – the money the players make for lending their images to hockey cards, for example – to purchase more than $1 million a year worth of sticks and skates and pads to donate to in-need organizations. It happily obliged. Good on them for doing this sort of stuff
