crotty99 302 Report post Posted April 28, 2010 (edited) Great news! http://msn.foxsports.com/nhl/story/Bruins-C-Marc-Savard-cleared-to-play-in-Round-2-042710 Ok that last video is only loosely related but I couldn't resist. edit: Just realised the Bruins are likely to be matching up with the Pens correct? That would make for an interesting series. Edited April 28, 2010 by crotty99

puffy 97 Report post Posted April 28, 2010 I'd love to see Savard and Cooke go at it, but I doubt it happens.
Travis 576 Report post Posted April 28, 2010 I'd love to see Savard and Cooke go at it, but I doubt it happens. Yeah, that's never going to happen. It'd be nice to see one of his Bruins teammates actually stick up for him, and the idea of a Pens/Bruins match-up conjures up ideas of that, but that'll never happen either. crotty99 302 Report post Posted April 28, 2010 I doubt Savard will go either, but all it will take is one hit and this series could explode... Exactly. I imagine both coaches would tell the players to focus on winning, but when the game is heating up the emotions will come out.
puffy 97 Report post Posted April 28, 2010 (edited) "The revenge factor" plays a big role here. If a Bruin goes after Cooke and he gets hurt they are looking at a pretty severe punishment. I believe Cooke intentionally injured Savard, but two wrongs don't make a right and you just know the league will be watching this series very closely. Nope, revenge factor isn't listed on the flow chart. They will be fine Edited April 28, 2010 by crotty99

xtrememachine1 795 Report post Posted April 28, 2010 Anyone else want to see Savard steal the puck from Cooke and then score the series clinching goal? Then in the handshake line Savard can say to Cooke "This time you didn't see ME coming"

Then in the handshake line Savard can say to Cooke "This time you didn't see ME coming" I'd prefer it if Savard went for the hand shake and then did the ol "take it away and stroke the hair" maneuver.
