Barrie 900 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 Hey just wondering who has the complete 1972 Summit Series Games on DVD? I bought it last week and have watched the first two games. The puck is just getting ready to drop for the third game... Game 1 was a little slow, a feeling out process probably, but Game 2 really picked up! Watching it now, the way the game is played post lockout, there could easily be 10 Power Plays a side or more. There was so much interference back then it's unreal! I don't know if that was just the way the series was played, or if that's the way it was in the NHL too. Anyway just wondering if anyone else has this series on DVD? I really enjoyed what I've seen so far, and it'll only get better! Oh, I should add, that Peter Mahovlich goal looked eerily similar to DMac's Stanley Cup winner against Philly in 1997! zettie85 106 Report post Posted July 27, 2010 I have had it for a while and I love it. The games in Canada weren't the best because we took them way to lightly.
