LTIR doesn't give cap space.

We have the same cap figure if someone is on LTIR or not. The CBA allows for a team to exceed the cap by the LTIR's combined (if multiple) salary. There is no benefit to placing Draper on LTIR unless we need to call someone up, and that can be done retroactively when needed.

guess i wasn't thinking about just doing it retroactively if needed. And since we can only go over during the LTIR, I see that it doesn't help us in the long run. I know all this most days, must be all the cold medicine....
