There has been talks for a while now with the Hawks being so close to the CAP and 6 upcoming RFA's Seabrook being one of them, that the Hawks are listening to calls about Seabrook. Rumor is the Hawks are looking for a Gritty 3rd or 4th liner, a second liner or a 3rd pairing D-Man. I personally would LOVE seeing Seabrook play for the Wings and I know trading inside the same conference let alone same division sounds nuts but maybe having a good relationship with Bowman might help, he is a tough shutdown player with a bomb pointshot

To CHI: Drew Miller,Ruslan Salei,1st round pick and or Prospect
(Salei would come off the books at the end of the season opening up Cap space for them)

To DET: Brent Seabrook, 4th/5th rounder

Zetterberg-Datsyk-Holmstrom
Franzen-Hudler-Bertuzzi
Cleary-Filppula-Abdelkader
Eaves-Draper-Helm

Lidtrom-Rafalski
Kronwall-Seabrook
Stuart-Ericcson

So Draper would come back in and Miller would go fixing us from rotating Miller,Eaves and Draper, Chicago gets a solid 3rd pairing D for 1 year who at the end of the season would open up Cap space for them, a hard working/gritty, go in the corners type of 3rd/4th liner a pick and maybe a prospect. Its a LONG shot but you never know.

Won't happen. I wouldn't mind it, but it won't happen.

the amount you offered is laughable... drew miller (waiver pickup), salei, and essentially a second round pick for a very good/young defenceman, from a division rival no less

Kudos to Teeman for the Sig

from a division rival

This is why... NO

Sure as hell would look good in the winged wheel, though. This section needs to be changed to "Trades I attempted and worked in NHL '11".

try, helm or abby, and one of our top prospects (tatar, smith) and a 1st before chicago would ever listen to anything.

TFP is suggesting they could possibly be listening to offers, although keeping it on the down low.
