Opinions on him? I've always liked him although I think he lacks consistency but he's youngish and worth a gamble in my opinion. However I don't know if he's a top 6 guy and my gut feeling says no. So therefore we probably don't have room for him here in Detroit. Thoughts?

He's quick, but he's so streaky. He looked decent in his rookie year, but hasn't developed much since. I wonder if Brandon Dubinsky is available, since Sather lured Richards to MSG. I'm not sure how much cap space they have, but do they have enough to re-sign Dubinsky, Callahan, Anisimov, and Boyle?

A bit less than $16M to sign those 4 plus 3 defensemen. I think they'd probably move guys like Avery or Wolski first, Dubs or Callahan last.

I heard they were trying to buy Wolski out. I think Brian Boyle is a very underrated player. He's very well-rounded, and the Rangers would be making a big mistake by letting him go. Avery would be interesting, no doubt. If he would just stick to playing hockey, he would be a decent player.

Cogliano was in the NHL Allstar speed competition a couple years back and won it.....If the price is right, Yes. Put him with Eaves and Draper. Make it a New Energy line.
