$600K if in the NHL, 105K if in the AHL. $225K minimum salary this season. He is just a depth signing for Peoria.

This has to be an AHL depth signing. If they expect him to contribute to the big club...needless to say, desperation is a stinky colonge.

i think his breakout season was a combination of playing on the same line as thornton and nobody knowing who he was. once the opposition figured out his one skill they took it away.

i think his breakout season was a combination of playing on the same line as thornton and nobody knowing who he was. once the opposition figured out his one skill they took it away.
He had genuine explosiveness and a very good shot. He was already a good pure goal-scorer before Thornton came in; the latter merely elevated him to a higher level. Major groin surgery makes everything in hockey more difficult.

I don't know if he has it in him to have a renewal... I hope he doesn't turn it around while under contract of the Blues, but maybe for another team I would wish him luck.

Tootoo does NOT belong on this team. He is classless and I would rather see the Wings be bad than classless. I feel the same way about Bertuzzi as well, but he at least CAN make the team better. With Tootoo the team becomes worse and in danger of being classless. Would you have liked Claude on the team? Or Roy? No. So why would you be okay with that POS.

I have always liked him, he was my favorite shark when he played for San Jose. I hope that things work out well for him.
