I do agree with the point made in the article that the next gen top end talent should already be in the lineup showing signs of things to come. I hope once Pavel hits 35 we have someone ready to take charge and be a bigger piece of the teams future in place.

Yeah i do too. It was a strange coincidence that datsyuk and zetterberg came in right when yzerman, fedorov, and shanahan were all on their ways out. Hopefully it happens again.

Pulkkinen and Jarnkrok will be ready to go in two years. Nestrasil, Jurco, Nyquist, and Sheahan will be a year or two after that.
