Are there any other teams in the big four that stitch each individual letter to the jersey beside the Wings? Any international or minor teams?

The Red Wings aren't even the only team in Detroit that doesn't use name plates. The Lions are the only one of the 4 that uses a name plate.

So Illitch and the Pistons? No one else? Have the Wings always done it this way. If not anyone know when they started?
