Classy of the Todd to give such props to Pavs. Good job to tough out the win. See you all later, off to date night with the wife. ;)
It's pronounced "Zim" not "Exim". Aw heck with it, just call me Scott.

Good win.

Didn't play well the entire game, but that's how these teams roll. They take turns dominating the game.

Still a little pissed traitor boy scored and gave them a point.

That goal wasn't really stoppable. It was immensely lucky.

Great game, 3rd period was terrible and Jimmy kept us in it. Really good overtime to end the game though.

What a win. Another ROW win for us, and two in a row against little brother.

Somebody needs to make a sound bite of Olczyk saying 'It was only a matter of time with the Red Wings dominating." We may very well never hear that again from that man.

Did anybody else hear Pierre say "You're now tied with Chicago," and "You've won a Stanley Cup," to Bertuzzi? I mean, we're still a point behind Chicago, and Bertuzzi has never won a cup, but um, don't let facts get in the way of you being a moron, Pierre.

I thought that too! Bert's never won a Cup, what a dumbass.

Well, I gotta say, that was a great game with each team taking turns dominating. Fact is, we are two very closely matched teams, and if we meet in the playoffs it will be a helluva series (and closer than 2009 when the Hawks weren't quite ready).

Datsyuk was pure awesome all over the ice.

James Tiberius Howard is the man.

Even Franzen showed up in OT.
"If I can be totally honest, it's not a lot of guys you get impressed by. Actually, it's no one else but him. From the bench, to see what move he makes -- you're like, 'I wish I could do that.' Sometimes you sit on the bench and just think, 'wow,' and you look over to the other bench and they sit there and shake their heads, too. He has great, great skills. I'm probably not going to play with another player who has the kind of skills he has." Mikael Samuelsson on Pavel Datsyuk

Even though Pierre is a goof, I love how Bertuzzi called him "bud"

Datsyuk and Lidstrom missed like the entire series, and it still didn't go beyond 5 games.
According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

BERT! Welcome back!

"During Robert Lang’s time in Detroit, he caused me anguish. Other times he brought me and my family great joy. Robert Lang occasionally coasts, and spends time searching for the best pane of glass to best view the reflection of his flowing mullet. Other times he is a strong-armed force with the puck. I never knew what to expect from Robert Lang. He is The Enigma. " - A2Y

I'm happy they won for now but no doubt watching the late game tonight on Center Ice via CBC I'll be mad they gave up a point to the Hawks.

Has anyone who has seen all three games against Chicago thought that they've spent an usually high amount of time discussing the play of Jimmy Hayes?

I agree.

Why should we care about some minor league scrub when there's so much talent on the ice already?
