So what is the score of the shootout now?

Howard has to be one of the best 1 on 1 goalies in the NHL if not the best

Datsyuk and Hudler take care of bidness in the SO

Minus about half a 3rd, that was a great road game. Well deserved win.

Well that was nice. Still I'd preferred a win in regulation.

Should have won it in regulation, but you take 'em any way you can get 'em. Separating themselves from the rest of the Central logjam, one W at a time...
"We've been in the same spot all year long. We won 50 games for the fourth year in a row. People think we're just hum-drum and boring.
No, you know what we are, we're good. You can't do what we do every single day and not be good." - Mike Babcock

Great game. f*** Kesler that diving, whining prick. Loved seeing the Wings so gritty tonight, oh and fighting = winning :hehe:

Howard is so improved on shootouts he doesn't even look like the same goalie from just a season or two ago. Much calmer and rarely bites unless it's a sick move.

Pav with his trusted move and Huds with a nice sneaky shot. Good win all in all. We probably should have won in regulation, Nucks got a flukey goal to tie up in the 3rd but on the road, against one of the major contenders to come out of the West this year, I'm more than happy with this outcome.

Yup ... left a few goals out there in regulation but puts us over .500 on the road.

Should be a 5 point lead over Canucks as they gave the Canucks a point in regulation but I'll take the win.

didn't you just say that we lost. Make up your mind.

While they were cleaning the ice before the shoot out, reminded me that I heard on the car radio today that a Zamboni driver got a DUI ....driving drunk on the ice, ran into the side boards. Google it, think it was in Minnesota ... HA! Couldn't believe it.

Great game of hockey between 2 extremely talented teams. The Wings were the better team for much of the night but the Nucks held on to muster a point. Clearly the Wings were the better team, BUT I found the officiating missed at least 3 clear penalties that the Wings should have had so I understand Nucks fans' frustration because I hate when that happens to the Wings.

To add, Zetterberg had a great game.. he was flying out there tonight. If he keeps that up he will be back to producing like he should. I thought Pavel had a quiet night, he looked kind of tired for some reason, but was still good defensively as usual.

But the most obvious thing is that Babs has to fix the powerplay because it will cost us down the line if it remains this pathetic. OVerall, great win for the Wings.
