I'd say that yeah, there's juuuuuust a little parity happening out there.
Now if the Hawks and Bruins can follow through and LOSE, there's at least some sick satisfaction there.
"He even ate with women who at that time were accorded the same status as the family donkey. Are we willing to break bread with, say, child sex slaves, transgender teens and undocumented workers? Because when Jesus comes back to Earth, that's where he'll be hanging."
You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.
Money on the Board - 100 bucks on the base. From here on, one buck per puck IN goal, win or lose!
Total right now: $110.

Enjoy your parity Gary. I'm glad the Penguins are out as much as anyone, but these non-traditional markets all advancing in a watered-down league isn't entertaining. Hope all those casual fans really enjoy 1-0 slop games that resemble hockey before the lockout.

Imagine if the second round consists of teams including Florida, Ottawa, St. Louis, Nashville and Phoenix.

Philly is a great team. So are the Blues. That would be quite a final show. The stingiest D vs what can only be unbelieavable Scoring by the Bullies.
I do agree that the Socialist system that is the Cap era makes for some rather lame hockey. If we could buy in whomever we wished we would probably have won almost every cup since the lockout. Is it fair? No.
Do I give two s***s about fair? Absolutely not.
It really does act the same way it would be if the government took your business license if you spent over 2 mil a year in advertising. You think Geico would do that well if they had to curtail the commercials?
That is NHL hockey right now
Suck it, s***tsburgh.
My thoughts exactly.

Oh....wait, that will be the Cup champ.......and the Wings will still have been the first team eliminated. This is pointless.
